01/06/06 – On A Caffeine High

We're on a caffeine high after after winning a coveted industry design award for work produced to promote Caffe Latino - an ADA, Annual Design Award.

Chris Hay picked up the ADA award ahead of hundreds of competitors nationwide for his contemporary marketing literature produced for the fledgling independent coffee house chain.
The literature included privilege and voucher cards, along with customer comment cards and menus.

Chris said: "We wanted to ensure the brand was strongly defined through every channel whilst developing a light hearted feel throughout all literature, but also keeping it sophisticated and stylish".

The Factory welcomes the new arrival of Emma Southorn, who will be the companies new business executive.

Emma has recently relocated from the West Midlands region to join The Factory in Leeds. From graduating at University in Business Management, Emma has previously worked as a Field Sales Executive with British Telecom and a trainee manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Emma said, "The ethics of The Factory are a great inspiration, I already feel like a valuable part of the team and I am looking forward to a promising future".

01/06/06 – Green Appeal

As concerns are rising worldwide for the state of the environment, and firms are being encouraged by the government to look at how to contribute to sustainability, we are going greener this month. We are one of few agencies that can offer a total 100% green solution, we not only recycle in and around the office but we can design and produce all of your stationery and promotional material on high quality recycled stock.

We are also heavily involved in the launch of a Tree Appeal, with the help of David Bellamy. Run as part of a national initiative set up by Printing.com the scheme will see a tree being planted for every 8th customer print order. The tree appeal plans on planting 10,000 trees on behalf of printing.com over the course of 2006/7.

07/02/06 – New website launch

You may have noticed that our website looks a little different than normal, that because it is! We are planning to build a big beautiful website that will, not only tell you about our services, but also give you loads of information and advice. We've even added your own little area to our site - click on 'Client Area' and type in your username and password.

We'll be expanding it over the coming weeks so please bookmark us and check back regularly.
